I suppose that I always thought of myself as an ordinary sort of person, no different from the crowd. I had no knowledge of God, and had little contact with Christians. It was at college that I first had contact with people who descrided themselves as Christians. I was impressed by their distinct attitudes and kindness towards me. This was something quite genuine, and something I realised that I ought to have. I came to understand that their relationship with Jesus Christ had changed them, and so that was something that I wanted. One evening I repented of my sins, and put my faith in Jesus Christ.
Looking back, my life has been totally transformed. I cannot even imagine what my life would have been like without Christ. The joy of knowing Him, the privilege of being part of a local church community, and being able to serve Him in that situation. A recent joy is to be able to play guitar with Brian and the Peacemakers.
